My friend Tiff Pollard came over tonight and I cut some plywood for her to paint on. Her plan is to make some small paintings to sell at a reasonable price….She may even paint them daily. I know a guy that did that once….! hehe. So I cut her plywood up and things were going smoothly. She had never been here before, so she got to see my studio and stuff. It was a good time. My saw quit working about 3/4 of the way through. I don’t know for sure what is wrong with it. I will have to deal with it tomorrow. So I gifted Tiff a few small panels that I had laying around and sent her on her way. Go get your art on, Tiff!
I needed to break yesterday and today I needed to try something new. I have been watching a few videos on pinstriping. And tonight’s painting features my first ever attempt at the art of pinstripes. It is super fun! This is a four color design that I made up as I went along. I free handed this. One thing I learned is that I do not have the correct tools. So a trip to the art store may be in order. But I am extremely proud of this painting. I needed to just have some fun. All too often lately painting has been an uphill battle. It was super nice to just have some fun. And I am glad I did. This helped me return to painting as a meditation. As a practice. And I am glad I can do that with the Gift Prolific. Not only are the gifts a Zen experience for me….but the paintings can be as well. I had forgotten that….and tonight I found it again. Thanks so much for following. Take care.
As with all of the February Marathon paintings this one is for sale on my ETSY page. $125 dollars plus shipping. This is painted on a 9×12 inch wood panel. When you buy art in the Feb. Marathon you are giving me the resources I need to continue to practice my art and my gifting. So thank you for supporting me. Take care.
If you have a tough time or just don’t like ETSY and you still want to purchase this painting let me know and I can send you my PAYPAL info. Take care.
