Off To A Slow Start…..(Feb. Marathon #02)

Trying to get back in the swing of things isn’t always so easy.  Getting back into the Marathon sure isn’t.  The gifting part is always easier than the painting part.  And it just so happens that I have a lot more on my plate this time around than I did last year.  But hey….what’s life if you don’t go big?  Are you taking on big things these days?  I would love to hear about it.

Today’s gift is pretty sweet.  Literally.  I am painting like crazy…and then I am going to my therapy session and then on to dinner with a friend.  All while working on the ‘Intersection Direction’ painting and emails, and working on some new ideas that have to do with San Francisco’s parklets.  Did I mention that I am busy?  hehe.  Anyway…I have decided to gift my therapist Anna later one today.  She has been so great throughout the course of my last few years.  And today is her birthday.  So I am going to give her one of my gift cards for frozen yogurt.  Theresa, got me 2 gift cards for xmas….one to use and one to give away.  Seems like a good one for today as I try to remind myself to take things as they come and slow down a bit.  And who doesn’t like frozen yogurt?!?

This past weekend was incredibly busy for me.  I had a few commissions to get done…and I had a live painting show on Saturday.  So getting some work done around here while being exhausted just wasn’t going to happen.  Yesterday was kind of a bust.  I am human after all.  So I skipped yesterday’s painting.  I will make it up.  I am pretty sure I was a day behind last year too…hehe.  Take care.

This piece sold to Vicki Vinton!  Thank you Vicki.  Take care.
