Well it is time for “Ninja” gift #2! I am on my last ten minute break….Again. So I buy a bunch of daisies at Trader Joe’s and write another note…”Please either enjoy these flowers (you deserve it) or gift them to someone you care about. From me to you….have a great day.” Then I walk straight out into the Trader Joe’s parking lot and place them on the windshield of the closest blue car. I picked Blue because it is Darwin’s (my son’s) middle name. The I walk away quickly. I wait. And wait…No one claims them. Dang, my ten minutes are up. I head back in and go back to work. When I leave work for the day I walk faster out the door…Yep the car is gone. Thankfully there are no daises on the ground….hehe. Someone got em.
This painting (at least a half done painting) has been sitting around the studio for a few days. Originally it was a skull painting….then it was all black….now it has life. I painted the flowers on the left a few days ago but I had no idea how to finish it. When I finally got into the studio tonight I knew exactly what to do….I needed to practice painting some Koi fish for the Trader Joe’s mural. And here we are. I am calling this the ‘Flower Meditation’ based on today’s gift and my project in general. If you have been following along you know that I believe that giving daily is a meditation. Anonymous giving stays secret…and so far this week I have not gotten to see how my tiny gift has effected people….But I can tell you that they make my day better…they make my life better. Thanks foe reading….take care.
