Standing On The Edge…

Well here it is.  February.  Tomorrow I will start a new round of paintings and gifts.  If you have been following along you already know about the ‘February Marathon’…I am not sure I like that name….but hey.

Each day in February I will be giving a gift or doing something nice for someone.  I will then make a painting that represents each day’s giving experience.  Post and blog about each day’s gift/painting.  And offer each painting for sale through this site.

This is an exercise in daily kindness and honoring the connections between all of us.  This is also an illustration of accessible art and where it meets sustainable living.  You get a great piece of art that you enjoy, and can afford.  I get to pay my bills, buy art supplies, and continue to do this work.  I am very interested in this intersection of patron and artist.

Each painting will have a numbered blog post so that you can track and read about the gift experience that inspired that day’s work.  To purchase a painting you will simply send me a message, and if you painting is still available I will send you my paypal link.  You pay for the painting and the shipping.  And you get a very cool piece of art with a kindness story behind it.  Each painting will be $100 (plus shipping).  Sizes vary…however they are nearly the same size. (10×10, 8×10, 9,12, 11×14, etc.)

Thank you in advance for participating in this project.  Thank you for supporting my art.  Let’s begin.  28 days of kindness…..28 days of paintings….The February Marathon starts….NOW!  Take care.
