Perspective (GP2-012)

gp2_008I am fried.  I have been working for the last two days for a big art show on Friday.  And right now I am toast.  My fingers hurt.  My back hurts.  I have had to deal with every crazy bit of challenges that can possibly arise before a deadline….Trust me the list is large and boring.  But it has been a tough one.  As I ready myself for going back to work tomorrow and trucking through the next few even busier days I think about someone that is having an even tougher time right now.  My friend Linda.  She had some sort of knee issues….and has been layed up since Thanksgiving.  I don’t know all the details.  But surely she is being challenged more than me today.  So I am making this little note card for her.  The picture (butterfly) is what I drew on the cover.  I know a card isn’t going to change the world or anything….But I want to let her know that I am thinking of her and hope she is feeling better soon.  Linda and I met on the 29gifts.org site.  She has been the biggest supporter of the GP.  So here is to you Linda, it ain’t much….but I am thinking about you and hope you feel better soon.  Take care.

  1. Linda Garrity says:

OMG Josh…..when I first saw the butterfly, I thought, “Oh my, how beautiful!” but had no idea it was being dedicated to me.
While I am in pretty dire straights over here, I also try to keep thinking about so many others who are struggling with WAY more than this….hope some of your life stresses calm down soon, so you can get back to being you!
It’s a lovely gift and I thank you so much…..XOXO

  2. saw this on linda’s facebook page and followed the link as it’s so beautiful. i’m assuming you know butterflies are a symbol for healing?
