Day 292 – Seriously!

This is just a note to remind myself….to remind you….to remind all of us.  We are awesome.  Seriously.  Human beings have amazing potential.  We have done so many things….great things.  Things that made the world a better place.  Things that changed history.  We are awesome.  Sometimes we forget that.  Sometimes, some of us never know it.  But it is there….inside.  Waiting to happen.  Awesomeness.  What is your awesome?  And why aren’t you awesome more often?

This painting is today’s gift.  It is just a simple sentence.  I want YOU to contemplate it for a minute.  And then go do something awesome.  Give a gift….have some fun… you.  Be awesome.  I have skipped a few nights of paintings the last few days.  I am in need of a little break.  I will get back on board tomorrow.  One thing that is AWESOME is the support that I recently received on my Kickstarter Campaign.  I was hoping to raise 2500 dollars….and all the supporters and backers pushed it way beyond my goal to 3157 dollars!  I am totally thrilled and amazed.  THANK YOU for all of your support!  Now my awesome project will be even more awesome.  How awesome is that?!  Take care.  May the AWESOME be with you!

What was the “word of the day” again? Didn’t quite get it! Seriously, I love this particular post as I struggle through my daily life. We were with our older son last night (the one whose serious relationship girlfriend of almost two years dumped him several months ago) and he mentioned his mantra was “Always do cool sh*t”, but I like yours much better; his seems fun, but somewhat self absorbed, but yours opens the doors to a myriad of possibilities.

I get to do a lot of fun, interesting things in my life, but still get the most delight when it involves thinking of simple, quirky unexpected ways to delight others; I was like that b/f I met you, but following your journey this past year has inspired me to “up my game”, consider new possibilities, and be inspired to recognize the significance of what I go about doing. I just might be the tiniest bit awesome, but need to work of acknowledging that within myself, proclaiming it openly, and allowing the full expression of it to come shining through……

Thank you Josh, for helping me be a better me……..
