Theresa and Darwin are heading to Oakland to visit our friend Viv and her cute little man, Ace. I am staying home to get some more work done for an upcoming Skateboard Art Show. Last night I cooled all kinds of food for Maria and her family. I set aside a pan of stuffed shells for today. I did not cook them….I just covered them and set them in the fridge. I am sending this pan with Theresa. I can picture Vivian warming them up in her oven. If I had more time I would make a bunch of Peanut Blossom Cookies to send along with it…But ‘more time’ is rare around these parts these days. So this will have to do. Sharing….the heart of many gifts.
It is funny that today I am staying home to paint on skateboard decks for a show because today’s painting is painted on a skateboard deck that was sawed up by my brother Chad. This one is really really loose and quick. Again I feel like I am reacting to the background that they painted. I really wanted to paint something blue on this one. So here we are….It is amazingly simple. Sloppy even. But I like it just the same. Have a great day. See you later.
