Day 129 – Put A Bird On It

Another day at work…seriously I think that Grocery Store Time does officially move at 1/3 the speed of Real Time.  Even when we are busy and man are we busy right now.  It is the lunch rush.  Lots of local regular customers come in…say hi and get something for lunch.  Some of them are always in a hurry.  Some not so much.  As I walk to the front to open another register I notice one customer who works next door at Bed Bath and Beyond.  She is only buying a large water.  She is in a huge line.  I ask her if that is all she is buying…she nods.  I tell her to just take it and I will buy her water for today.  She smiles and thanks me for saving her ten minute break.  It is my incredibly tiny but fun gift for the day.  Later on I pay for the water and take my own ten minute break.  I have been feeling kind of crappy lately.  I hope it passes soon.  My stomach is just not loving these medications.

Put a Bird On IT!  If you have not seen the ‘Portlandia’ Skit then you need to….here.  I love to paint birds.  And this was just me having fun.  Sketching…practicing some color stuff.  Another simple gift…..simple painting.  Speaking of birds….I have an art show coming up in February…on the 4th.  The Gallery has taken all of my bird paintings.  The show is called Flock.  More details to come!  See ya.

I wish you were coming to Florida to do a showing. I would love to go!
Hope you get to feeling better. This may sound gross, but gargling with vinegar and
water flushes out bacteria. I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago.
    Peace and love,
    Tammy

Thanks Tammy. Where are you in Florida? I am from there. I still have family there. And thanks for the gargle advice. It started to feel a little bit better today. Thanks for reading and replying….talk to you soon.
