It is the night we have been waiting for! Halloween is here! I get home from work and Theresa and I talk about what we each need to do to make tonight happen. I help Darwin get dressed up. Then I head out to the garage and carve 4 more pumpkins for the yard….bringing our total to 43. Did I mention that earlier? Anyway. I set up my guitar amp in the yard and hook up my mp3 player to it…I made a heavy metal scary mix days ago. It will help keep me going tonight. And then I am off to eat dinner. If I don’t eat dinner now I will just eat candy all night….and for a diabetic that just isn’t going to do. After dinner Theresa and Darwin make a run down the street trick or treating. I start handing out candy. We are giving full size candy bars to all the kids who live on our street. Which brings us to today’s gift. Not just yard decorations and great times but participating in Halloween are huge gifts. We decided years ago to give out handfuls of candy…not just one piece. This year things are a little tighter…so we decided big candy bars for the kids we know…and one or two pieces for everyone else. If you give out candy for Halloween then congratulations on giving. You are making tonight super cool for a bunch of kids. Take care….Happy Halloween.
Today’s painting is super simple. I didn’t have a whole lot of time but I like where it is now and can live with it. This is a ram skull. I listened to Black Sabbath the whole time I painted it. I believe that everyone should listen to Black Sabbath….every song. LOL. Take care.
