My friend Craig and his girlfriend Cassandra are headed to Las Vegas in the early morning. Craig asked me for a ride a few days ago. I am committing today to make it happen. They need to be at the airport at 5 am. I am going to bed early tonight….but first I clean out the van…take out the stroller and the baby seat. I want to make it as nice as I can. I really like them and want them to feel comfortable in my car. I always hate when you get a ride from someone and their car stinks or you have to sit on a mountain of trash. So I am working to make it nice. The next morning I pick them up at their house…they are amped up. They are going to Vegas because Cassandra organized a film festival there. So that is really cool. It is nice to see other artists actually doing things instead of just sitting around with their degrees wondering when they will get discovered. Good for these guys. As I drop them at the airport I tell them that I can pick them up Monday night when they get back. Cool. I kind of hope Craig’s plane doesn’t crash! At least a little.
This was a rough one. I wasn’t sure where I was going the WHOLE time. I was up too early and painting when I was too tired. I should make a moratorium on painting while sleepy. It is just too much of a struggle. Anyway here you are….one more painting towards the end.
